Fremont Outdoor Movies

Last night (Sept. 8, 2007), the Fremont Outdoor Movies screened the 3-minute version of Perilous Skies followed by She Demons (1958). Adding to the fun, they turned off the sound during She Demons and replaced with live dialog and sound effects from Jet City Improv.

Here are some pictures from the event.

The Double Feature Everyone's Been Waiting For!

All summer, the Fremont Outoodr Movies has shown a Three-Minute Masterpiece Winner followed by a feature film. They play most of the feature films normally, but they played four as Twisted Flicks, with improvised sound from Jet City Improv.

The outdoor cinema's day job is as a parking lot. Movie goers bring their own chairs. We arrive early and wait in line for the ticket gate to open, making ourselves comfortable on the sidewalk in our chairs.

The gates open and we set up our chairs. Felix, Ben and Noah's friend from school, joins the fun as wait for the movies to start.

Look carefully at this picture and try to find Jeffery, Noah's dad, and Sophie, his sister.

Felix comes with his mom and Pepper, his dog.

Just before the screening, Ben and Noah come up to give the name of the web site: "SLUGCO.COM!" The screening goes very well, with great audience reaction.
